Fancy Doll Cake

I had the opportunity to make another doll cake!  The best part about making a doll cake is knowing that I can design what she's going to be wearing!  I wanted to incorporate texture and pastel colours while I was making this cake.  I didn't want to use the same ripple effect that I have done with my other doll cakes so I decided to use a circle cookie cutter to make her dress. I, then, created some lines on those circles to make a textured effect.  I chose a neon green base as I wanted the pastel colours on her dress to pop out.  I envisioned a petal effect layed around evenly to make her dress.  I also wanted the dress to accentuate the doll's purple hair colour so I knew I had to choose the right shades to do this.  She looked stunning!  What do you think?
