IROBOT ROOMBA CAKE

When I was asked to do a Roomba vacuum cake, I was surprised I was doing it for a one year old birthday party.  I even asked his mother, "Are you sure?  Do you want me to, at least, make it a brighter colour?"  To my shock, she wanted it to look exactly like her Roomba vacuum as she explained that it is his favourite thing to play with!  Kids are so funny!

I remember when my oldest son was a baby, he would love playing with spoons.  If kids love playing with the most simplest of things, why bother buying all these expensive toys?!  Oh well, I will never understand!  Take a look at the Roomba cake I made for my nephew:

  1. My son loved his Roomba cake. He wanted to press the button! True point about kids loving to play with regular items instead of toys...why do we spend so much money on expensive toys?? Good point!! (And yummy cake too).

    1. You got a two in one! A cleaner and a toy! I'd say those are the best of both worlds for families:)
