I made this cake for my youngest son who was turning 3!! He LOVES Lego blocks and just loves to build anywhere from lines to a house. He has quite the imagination! I decided to go with primary colours while I was making his cake. I also wanted to make the lego blocks look like it was put together while the top block was hanging off. The challenge I found was when I put the yellow block partly on top of the red and blue block, the part that was hanging off was falling forward. The reason for this was that the cake board I used was too flexible that it couldn't support a leveled weight of the entire yellow block. So, I used a thick straw to hold that part in place and VOILA! it worked. I placed all of my son's Lego men around to complete the final decor...
