I was asked to do a cake for a 70th old birthday celebrant. However, this wasn't just any type of cake requests. The cake had to incorporate three main things: her favourite wine, Maynards Wine Gummies and tootsie rolls. The main challenge to this cake was not only ensuring that it had these contents but it had to be presented with the right design.
I drew a number of designs that I thought would have been great for this theme but many of them weren't good enough as the cake had to truly represent the birthday girl! After all, you don't turn 70 everyday now do you??? So, after much thinking and designing, a cake was formed!! Take a look:
