HOCKEY PUCK CAKE

I was asked to make my first hockey puck cake that showed off the Maple Leafs Team.  When his mother had asked her son, "What kind of cake do you want?"  He said he wanted a hockey puck cake.  His mother was so shocked and surprised as he plays soccer and basketball all the time.  She explained to me that she had no idea he even knew hockey nor even talked about it.  I guess this mother will have to add hockey to his sports activity.  It seems like maybe, he could be a rising star one day??
